About this service

Toledo Comfort & Plumbing is a free referral service that connects homeowners with independent local HVAC and plumbing pros. We are not a contractor, and we do not perform, supervise or guarantee any work. The pros are separate, independent businesses. Pros may pay us for referrals; that's how the service stays free for homeowners.

For homeowners

  • Sending a request is free and doesn't oblige you to hire anyone.
  • Any quote, price, schedule, warranty and payment are agreed directly between you and the pro. We aren't a party to that agreement.
  • We can't promise a pro will be available for every request, area or time.
  • Please check a pro's license, insurance and references yourself before hiring, and get the quote in writing.
  • This form is not for emergencies. If you smell gas, see sparks, or have flooding near electrical, leave the area and call 911 and your utility.
  • Please give accurate contact details and only submit requests for a property you own or are authorized to arrange work for.

Pro terms

These are the terms you agree to when you check the box on the pros sign-up form.

  • Free trial: your first 3 leads are free.
  • Pricing after the free leads: $40 per standard lead (repairs, tune-ups and quotes on a normal schedule), $50 per urgent / same-day lead (homeowner needs help today), and $100 per replacement / install lead (new system, water heater or other replacement).
  • Payment: either save a card for automatic weekly billing (recommended), or pay a weekly invoice within 7 days through Stripe (card or bank).
  • Overdue invoices: if an invoice is overdue, new leads pause. They pick back up once it's paid.
  • Bad-lead credits: report a lead within 72 hours and we'll credit it if it's a wrong or disconnected number, outside your service area, or a duplicate of a lead already sent to you that week.
  • Exclusive: each lead goes to one pro. It's never shared with a list.
  • No contract: cancel anytime by emailing pcmack56@gmail.com.
  • You're responsible for holding any licenses, permits and insurance your work requires, and for contacting homeowners only about their request and in line with applicable calling and texting rules.

General

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for work performed by any pro or for any agreement between a homeowner and a pro. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions: pcmack56@gmail.com.
